Services and fees
We offer three forms of treatment that are often combined. What a child needs is decided together with the family, after an intake.
Individual therapy
Working one to one with the child or young person on communication, emotional regulation, learning skills and independence in daily routines.
Parent and family treatment
Explanation that connects to how you raise your child, plus practical training so skills hold up in situations where we are not present.
Treatment at school
Alignment with teachers and learning support staff, aimed at participation in class and at smooth transitions.
How treatment is funded
Which route applies depends on your municipality and on your child’s situation. You do not have to work this out alone; we think it through with you at registration.
Treatment can be funded through:
- The Youth Act (Jeugdwet). Through a contract with your municipality, known as care in kind.
- A personal budget (pgb). You purchase the treatment yourself with a budget granted by the municipality or the care administration office.
- Long-term care (Wlz). For children with a lasting, intensive care need.
- Private funding. You pay for the treatment yourself.
Fees
For care funded through a personal budget we apply the rates set out in the guidelines of the Dutch Healthcare Authority. For privately funded treatment we apply market rates.
We think you should know where you stand before you start. You therefore always receive a written overview of the costs before treatment begins.
Spira Centrum is working towards contracts with municipalities so that treatment can also be delivered as care in kind. Ask about the current position for your municipality when you register.
